Core Tools
Exegetical Topic Explorer
This is the primary tool of the application. Users can enter a doctrinal or theological topic (e.g., "Grace", "Repentance", "Justification") and the AI generates a detailed, KJV-only analysis. The analysis includes:
- An introduction to the topic.
- Relevant scriptures from the Old Testament, Gospels, Epistles, and Revelation.
- Historical context (Sitz im Leben) and 1st-century context (optional).
- A conservative theological summary.
- Practical application for daily life.
- An analysis of historical and contemporary doctrinal corruptions.
- Analysis of original Greek/Hebrew words and comparisons with modern Bible versions.
How to use: On the Explorer page, type a topic into the input field and click "Explore Topic". Use the checkboxes to include additional context like "Sitz im Leben" or geographical information in the analysis. You can also select up to 3 items from your Supplemental References library to guide the AI.
Philosophy Explorer
This tool analyzes non-Biblical philosophies, worldviews, or common statements. For example, a user could enter "Stoicism" or "Man is the measure of all things". The AI provides the origins, foundational figures, modern presentation, and a strong Biblical refutation of the identified philosophy. It includes a "'Warts and All' Analysis" option for deeper critical insights.
How to use: On the Explorer page, scroll down to the Philosophy Explorer, type a statement or philosophy name, and click "Analyze". You can also select up to 3 items from your Supplemental References library to guide the AI.
Connections Explorer
This tool finds and analyzes the connections between any two topics (e.g., 'Quantum Physics' and 'Ancient Philosophy'). It can map links across historical, philosophical, scientific, and social dimensions. It also has a "'Warts and All' Analysis" option to include controversial or negative aspects for a more complete picture.
How to use: Navigate to the Connections Explorer from the home page. Enter your two topics. Under "Advanced Options," you can enable the "Warts and All" analysis for a more critical report.
Etymology Explorer & Scriptural Witness Comparator (SWC)
A powerful dual-function tool for deep word and verse analysis, accessible from the home page.
- Etymology Analysis: Provides a detailed breakdown of a word's origin, pronunciation, historical evolution, modern usage, and a comparative analysis with related terms.
- Scriptural Witness Comparator (SWC): Compares a word or verse across multiple ancient and modern textual sources, including the KJV, Greek Textus Receptus (TR), Hebrew Masoretic Text, Dead Sea Scrolls, and Latin Vulgate. Untrustworthy sources like Westcott & Hort are visually flagged in red.
- Deeper Dive: After running the SWC, a "Deeper Dive" button provides a comprehensive AI-powered analysis of the comparison table, explaining the significance of textual variants, manuscript traditions, and the unreliability of certain critical texts.
How to use: Navigate to the Etymology Explorer from the home page. Enter a term (e.g., 'grace') or a verse reference (e.g., 'Psalm 22:16'). You can select up to 3 items from your Supplemental References library to guide the AI. Click "Analyze Term" for its etymology or "Scriptural Witness Comparator" for a textual comparison. You can then save, print, or email the generated SWC report.
Interactive Features
Deeper Exploration
Within the generated reports, most sections have a "Deeper Exploration" button. Clicking this prompts the AI to provide a more detailed, expanded explanation on that specific point, drawing on deeper historical and theological knowledge.
Mind Map Explorer
After generating any report, you can visualize its content as a mind map. This feature helps in understanding the structure and key points of the analysis. The mind map can be viewed as a nested list or in a "traditional" horizontal tree format. You can also expand branches of the mind map with AI-generated details.
How to use: After generating a report, click the "Mind Map" button in the header. On the Mind Map page, click "Generate Mind Map".
Learning Aid (Quiz)
To help study and retain information, users can generate a 13-question multiple-choice quiz based on any exegetical report.
Chat About Report
A chat window is available to have a conversation with the AI about the generated report. This allows for asking follow-up questions or clarifying points. Responses from the chat can be added to the main report as notes.
Report & Reference Management
Supplemental References Library
This is an admin-only feature for managing a private knowledge base. Administrators can add up to 13 reference items (e.g., sermon notes, articles, book excerpts) to a library. These references can then be used to provide supplemental context for any AI analysis.
How to use (Admin): Access the "References" page from the home page or Explorer page. You can add, edit, delete, upload (.txt, .json), and download your references. When running an analysis, use the "Supplemental References" dropdown to select up to 3 items to include.
How to use (General): After generating a report, you can add it to your references by clicking the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the report and selecting "Add to References."
Saving & Loading Reports
Users can save any generated report (exegetical, philosophical, or SWC) to their browser's local storage. These can be accessed later from the "Saved Reports" page, which is accessible from the header on the Explorer page.
How to use: Click the "Save" icon button in the top-right corner of a generated report.
Exporting & Sharing
Reports and individual sections can be printed, downloaded as a PDF, or emailed directly from the application. Use the action icons in the top-right corner of the full report or any individual section card.
